The seat cushion in the classic Zafu design with the side expansion pleats is a universal seat. A zafu means Country of origin China “seat made of cattails”. Due to the sloping side surface, the seat cushion can support an ideal sitting position with techniques and form of Zen meditation. With the standard seat height of approx. 15 cm, the seat cushion is versatile and can be used with a Zabuton, which is filled with fibers from kapok, matching the seat used. Thanks to the circular zipper at the bottom and the removable cover, the filling can be individually adjusted.
